WARRENTON, Mo. - A church in Warrenton, Missouri, went up in flames early Monday morning.Fire officials said the massive fire destroyed the Abundant Life Church. A red glow was coming from the building, and thick black smoke could be seen for miles.Authorities said at least 10 different agencies responded to the massive blaze around 5 a.m.“I had to have a few moments where I just let it out. That's my church, it's a sad day," said Joe Soloman, a church member.Churchgoers are stunned their place of worship was destroyed, a day after Sunday services.“I was really taken back, very sad to be awakened this morning and to turn on the news and see my church on fire,” Soloman said. WASHINGTON, Mo. - Thousands of community members and first responders from around the state gathered to remember the life of Matthew Pauk.A motorcycle accident on June 4 claimed his life and left his wife fighting for hers. After countless acts of service, friends, and family said, remembering who he was and what he did, made Monday important.“Matt was definitely one of the guys that, no matter what the situation was with customers, he was always there, no questions asked," said Eric Korte, Pauk's long-time friend.More recently, Korte became aware of how driven Pauk was by his work after joining the team at Patriot Towing. He has recovered from surgery to repair the fractures and has been doing shooting and some scrimmage work for several days in an effort to get back on the court.“He’s done everything he needed to do,” Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said in Denver during his pregame media session. “We appreciate all the work that he’s put in. The Weld County Critical Incident Response Team is investigating a Monday morning barricade that concluded with Greeley police shooting and killing a 35-year-old suspect.About 4:40 a.m. Monday, Greeley police responded to reports of shots fired in the 600 block of 46th Avenue Court in Greeley, according to a response team’s news release.At the scene, officers saw a hole in the wall of a shared duplex and heard another gunshot coming from the residence. Police surrounded the residence and tried to call the suspect out of the home.The suspect barricaded himself in the attached garage, refusing to exit the home, the release said. The Orange County Transportation Authority has declared an emergency related to a sliding hillside in San Clemente that has threatened a railroad track and led to the intermittent halting of train service in parts of Southern California.The OCTA Board declared the emergency Monday, just days after the land beneath the historic Casa Romantica cultural center began to slip away, sending dirt and rocks onto the train track below. The emergency vote will allow OCTA CEO Darrell E.
