ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) - Albany’s St. Patrick’s Day parade kicked off at 2pm Saturday to crowds adorned in green who were excited and energized by the annual event.The annual parade floated down the streets lined in all shades of emerald as the crowds cheered the passing marching bands, bagpipe players and Irish dancers. TROY, N.Y.(NEWS10) - NEWS10 has learned exclusive information that the missing Mechanicville man is the person Troy police found dead in an abandoned house, Friday night.The Troy Police Department has now picked up the case of 41-year-old Daniel Murphy who had been missing since Wednesday.Murphy last contacted family March 8, but failed to show up to work and he hadn’t been heard from since. Mesa Ridge basketball achieved purple perfection.The Grizzlies out-slugged Air Academy 71-68 in the Class 5A championship game Saturday at the Denver Coliseum, securing the program’s first championship to finish a sparkling 28-0. A man was arrested Friday for allegedly assaulting multiple victims in a hate crime-fueled attack in Santa Monica.The suspect was identified as Job Uriah Taylor by the Santa Monica Police Department.Officers responded to an attempted assault in the 1100 block of Santa Monica Beach around 7:30 a.m.The victim, who was walking his dog at the time, told police Taylor approached him and threatened to attack him with a metal pipe. ANTIOCH, Calif. (KRON) -- A man was injured after a shooting Saturday morning at Twin Creeks Apartments, the Antioch Police Department (APD) announced in a press release. The shooting happened around 11:24 a.m. at the apartment complex on 1111 James Donlon Boulevard. 160 remains and bodies found in Hayward warehouse linked to illegal cremations company When APD officers arrived at the scene, they saw a man with at least one gunshot wound.
