Allumen Yoga, an infrared hot yoga studio at the edge of RiNo, closed this weekend after two years of business.Founder Madeleine Page said the studio at 2590 Lawrence St. hosted its last class Sunday, Sept. 24.“It’s tough for small businesses always, but especially these days,” Page said.Allumen, originally named Third Space Yoga, opened in the 3,000-square-foot space within the S*Park condominium complex in 2021. But, soon after opening, Page said she was hit with trademark infringement for the Third Space name.“That left us without being able to put the word out about operations – dealing with the rebrand, and the after fact of the pandemic, it was slow growth,” Page said.Page said the studio didn’t rebrand as Allumen until last November, and in between that time her founding partner left the business.“We faced a lot of hurdles that in the end with this space we just weren’t able to overcome,” she said. She said business was good after rebranding as Allumen, but she still owed back...Cherry Cricket owner submits plans for office building next to original restaurant

Click here to submit a question.I guess we no longer have to worry about winning those one-score games.— Peter Campbell, HotchkissBam. That’s an appropriate way to get this week going, Peter. Indeed, the Broncos came up a mere six touchdowns short of getting back within a score against Miami. The thing about that game that keeps coming to my mind is just how many different ways the preposterous nature of the score and what Miami did can be sliced. And no matter how it gets sliced, it’s still incredible. At some point we’ll mostly stop talking about it, but it will never fully go away. It’s one of those games that’s on the resume of everybody involved for both Denver and Miami. The latest rendition of boggle-the-brain stats that comes to mind is that the Dolphins scored 10 touchdowns in 51 minutes, 59 seconds of gametime. That’s one touchdown every 5:12 on the clock.
