Since co-founding in 2005, Cameron Slayden has operated Microverse Studios, an animation company with a twist: they only produce animation about extremely complicated cell biology and molecular science.Cameron says, “When I started the company, having a brick and mortar office was really important to me. It was all part of creating a customer experience that inspired confidence that we were professionals and could do this very unique job that we do.”While the company was first finding its legs, they produced scientific animations for documentary series on National Geographic, History, and other TV channels.“It was important that all of the animators be in one place so that they could use the studio’s computing resources. The set will be stacked with classics then.“Especially in the early days of the punk scene, any competitiveness was just for fun, if there was any at all,” Palm also said. “Orange County was still no man’s land as far as punk rock goes.
