Vikings star Justin Jefferson misses seventh straight game

The plan has always been to get star receiver Justin Jefferson back to 100% before he returned to the field. That meant not cutting any corners during the recovery process. No matter what.It shouldn’t come as a surprise then that the Vikings decided not to activate Jefferson from injured reserve before hosting the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football. Though he has slowly started to ramp things up in practice over the past couple of weeks, Jefferson is still in the final stages of rehabbing his hamstring injury, and the Vikings ultimately decided to err on the side of caution with their best player. This is the seventh straight game Jefferson has missed for the Vikings since hobbling to the sidelines on Oct. 8 during a home loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. He’s watched his team go 5-1 in his absence (not including the primetime game between the Vikings and Bears) to get themselves back into the playoff picture. There seemed to be some optimism last week that Jefferson mig...St. Paul’s Park Square Theatre announces new executive artistic director and plans to mount season next year

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - It's beginning to look a lot like the holidays in Missouri's capital city, after a crane moved a 30-foot tree into the governor's mansion. For 30 years, the Missouri Department of Conservation has been asking Missourians to donate evergreen trees between 30 and 40 feet tall to be decorated on the lawn of the Missouri Governor's Mansion. The Richardson family said they were happy to donate their Norway spruce because the tree was at the end of its lifespan due to recent droughts."We thought what a perfect way for it to go out," Sherry Richardson said. "I'm still in awe. I can't believe they picked my tree."High in the sky On Monday morning, a Christmas tree was flying through the air in Jefferson City."It always amazes me that they can lift it up by crane over onto the lawn," Missouri Department of Conservation Natural Resources Communication Specialist Jolly Dentner said. In trench warfare against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday afternoon, the Broncos’ defensive line had the advantage. The Broncos were well ahead, holding a 27-12 lead late in the fourth quarter, but defensive end Zach Allen wanted to add one more exclamation point. With the Browns facing a third-and-10 at their 5-yard line, Allen bulldozed past two offensive linemen before teaming up with outside linebacker Nik Bonitto to sack quarterback P.J. Walker in the end zone for a safety.Heading into the season, Denver’s defensive line was one of the biggest question marks on the team. In the Broncos’ 29-12 win over the Browns, the unit stepped up, producing two of the team’s three takeaways while repeatedly disrupting Cleveland’s solid offensive line.“It’s hard to have success if your guys up front on both sides of the ball — the trenches as we like to say — are not at least neutralizing or playing up to the level of your opponent,” head coach Sean Payton said. “I think we’ve...Former Pueblo officer shocked unarmed woman complying with officers, lawsuit alleges
