11-year-old girl shot while inside home on South Side CHICAGO — A young girl is in critical condition after she was shot while inside her home on the city’s South Side, police say.According to Chicago police, the 11-year-old girl suffered a gunshot wound to her head after someone fired shots into her home from outside.Police say the shooting happened just before 4 p.m. Sunday in the 2000 block of West 68th Place in Englewood. 16-year-old boy, 2 others injured after shooting in Gage Park The victim was taken to St. Bernard Hospital and then transferred to Comer Children's Hospital for surgery.Currently, it is unclear what led to the shooting, but police say two people have been taken in for questioning and a firearm was recovered at the scene.  Authorities held a press conference on Sunday evening offering updates on the shooting. Police investigating 6 robberies over the weekend in St. Louis City ST. LOUIS - A series of armed robberies over the weekend in the city of St. Louis have police searching for suspects Monday morning.The crimes occurred in different parts of the city under varying circumstances, but they were all situations involving the victim being held up with a suspect or suspects armed with either guns or a knife.Police are reporting a total of six armed robberies, also known as 'robbery first-degrees,' from the weekend. The river watch says identifying areas where salt use impacts water quality is essential for protecting habitats and keeping people and animals safe. They say monitoring trips would only take 15 minutes.
