20-year-old Md. man charged with stealing forklift from Lowe’s and running down, killing woman A man has been arrested and charged with stealing a forklift from Lowe’s in Waldorf, Maryland, and running over and killing a woman in the parking lot.The Charles County Sheriff’s Office has charged Bryce Caleb Timothy Brown, 20, of Waldorf, with first-degree murder, second-degree murder, assault, theft and other related charges.The sheriff’s office says officers responded to a burglary in process at the Lowe’s in the 2500 block of Crain Highway at 12:40 a.m. on Sunday.Brown broke into Lowe’s and stole a forklift and rammed it through the rear gates, according to a news release.Once he was in the parking lot, the sheriff’s office said Brown rammed the forklift into a vehicle that was parked in the parking lot with a woman sleeping inside. Cardinals sign RHP Chen-Wei Lin, their first player ever out of Taiwan MIAMI (AP) — The St. Louis Cardinals on Monday signed right-handed pitcher Chen-Wei Lin, the franchise’s first player signed out of Taiwan.The 21-year-old Lin is a native of Tainan City, Taiwan, and played college baseball at Chinese Culture University in Taipei.
